It is a late 19th - early 20th century Admiralty pattern kedge anchor. (IMO)

Local historian says, 1880 - 1890, gave some cool background on them. Usually 2 - 3 per boat, 150 to 250 ft schooners

It will make a great yard ornament though...and no porch pirates are going to be running for the car with that under their arm.
