Dates for 40% silver halfs

1970 was only issued in Mints sets.
See Red Book 2007 page 196.
I'm still looking for one.

In reality the last ones made were much more recent than that. Some bicentennials were also struck in 40% silver, and they started striking some proofs in 40% silver also, starting around 1992 I think. Many of us have found some of those recent silver proofs in circulation. I think I have found a total of 5 or 6 myself.

The recent silver proofs are made of 90% silver. This includes the Wash Comm. and the 98-2007 proofs from the silver proof sets.

Is ther a way to tell the 40% bicentennials from the regular ones?
