The pictures below shows the silver finds my cousin ( DaveDigs ) found this year...
He really puts the skunk on me and I thought you all might like to see them...

5 Quarters ( One not pictured, an 1876 Seated )
14 Barbers Dimes?
34 Mercury Dimes
24 Roosevelts

He uses a Minelab ExplorerII, and I'm going to get me one someday...

That is impressive. Now, you tell me, is it where he hunts, the machine or both? Oops, I left out the user. ;D
You think he is missing anything? Doesn't look like it to me.

Thanks all,,,
I'm sure Dave Thanks you also... He doesn't like computers much, and says he types kind of slow, so I thought I would put just a few of his finds on to share with the group. I'm going to have to try and get him to join in more...

Mirage,,, I thinks it's mainly him knowing that machine, and the right sound to listen for... I hunt the same places he does and he usually puts the skunk on me every time... He been detecting for right at 3 years now...

pssst.......you might want to leave him at home next time....
The last time I did that I found that cache and have felt kinda bad about him not being there to see it. Besides that, I usually ride with him... ;D
Good luck all, & Happy hunting~

Very nice, Call me strange but I love that cut in half barber. Someone must have needed a nickle at one point.

Funny thing about that Jer,,, is the pieces don't match, it's two different dimes...
He found both of them within a few feet of each other, but didn't find either of the other halves...

hollowpointred,,, We usually hunt at all of the older parks here in town... We hunt slow and steady, as he has hunted these same parks for about 3 years now, and I have been hunting them with him for a little over a year. The silver is getting very scarce, but we still seem to do pretty well...
