Waited for the worst of the rain to finish. When I got there section 2 was half under water. Lucky I was doing the slope although the water was still filling the hole at 4inches. The wind was a pain as it was blowing me down it (the hill) & stopping me climb it. Still fun flicking the mud off your boots :D

Only did 2 hours 15mins by myself.

Got a silver 1919 Florin.
1 Scrappy roman coin
Tiny late medieval buckle
Rare 1780s 16th Regiment of Foot pewter button in bad nick. :'(

Completly opposite for us today bone dry with just the odd light shower ,you have done well to stick that out ,but as they say you don't find anything sat at home :coffee2:

Most UK detectorist would have left this field well alone, but I'm not most :tard:
My time will come in late Aug, meantime I'll plod on. :wink:

very nice finds, our snow has finally started melting in earnest, so I got out yesterday for 2.5 hours. didn't find squat but newer trash, but it felt very good.

Thanks, its not quite my smallest but its pretty close. I think it is a spur strap buckle.
