Calabash snagged that half real after lunch and then the site just started coughing up buttons all afternoon. I ended up with ten or so, which made my day (and redeemed me for my meager Day 1 showing). But no matter how hard I tried, it was not giving up a second Spanish silver that day. Lol. What a great trip that was and thanks to Calabash for the invite. Had a blast digging with two great detectorists and good friends and got to witness some incredible recoveries.
BTW - The Equinox killed it. We were all swinging one. I was using Field 2 with no IB, 50 tones, recovery 6 or 7, depending and could run sense to 20 even with power lines.
One of the recoveries that kind of blew my socks of from a detector performance standpoint was the button shank below. It was at about 2 or 3 inches. My other finds posted below.
Thanks Calabash for the good times. Let's do it again.
