Well I did not find this today--but this was the last silver coin that I found in 2004.

I was hunting an area that I suspected might have been a camping site during the wagon days.? It was along a very busy road that was once the main artery between Sacramento and Auburn.

Boy was I surprised when this beauty popped out of the ground!!

Sweet Find. Ron! Does this mean you're working on Part 2 of your article? guess I'll have to take back everything I've said about California. Only state west I haven's visited- guess that will have to change. LOL HH and keep your coil in the dirt.

I can only imagine how you felt when this one came out of the ground. Love seeing what your are digging.
