That is definitely some decent erosion.

lol!! Yippee.. I have to say there is something unusual about grown men and women getting so excited over beach erosion....

Nice photos!

Re: Decent erosion and a few nice 'finds' at Juno Beach, FL

The coin appears to be a older, dollar sized milled coin that has some cloth stuck to it, perhaps part of the burlap bag the coin was carried in?

I will let everyone know more when I get around to cleaning it.

The heavy gold chain measured 17" long, too small for my neck, so I gave it to my son.

I watched the news and the weather folks say big big big 'angled' waves will be pounding the entire eastern coast.....

Oh boy..it feels like Christmas Eve....

Hey Tom, is that gold chain shipwreck? It looks heavy duty but the latch looks modern.

Bigcypresshunter, it is a modern type chain. At 17" it must be made for a kid. :-\

Here is another pic from yesterday, showing even more erosion. Not much of the beach left here and those turtle nests in the background are in danger.

Re: Decent erosion and a few nice 'finds' at Juno Beach, FL

mmm good --- "good" erosion without hurricane closure of the "beach" (so you can't hunt it) or any damage --- these days thats about as good as it gets.

feel a bit sorry for the turtles though.
