Hey guys

Getting back into hunting again here with multiple outings last week. Been going back and fourth between the deus and etrac. Starting to now master the deus after a few hundred hrs I'm starting to feel comfortable swinging it

Most finds came from three different parks. I believe I was on a old home site yesterday when I found the two bells one being very large. There was glass and pottery everywhere. Relics were coming up regularly

Not shown is a very nice counter struck 1854 lc. It's soaking along with some other nice finds. I'll get them up later this week once I get everything cleaned up

Im having a slow season 56 Silvers. Didn't swing as much this yr. I'm gonna try and salvage the season and get to a 100 Silvers by dec end I'll be content. I avg 150 a yr but that's hunting all the time

Sitting at 32 Indians. Not a bad yr. Just gotta put the hrs in to accumulate.

Can anyone i.d the little pistol says 22 caliber on the side. Has a serial number on bottom of grip

Thanks for viewing

Very diverse group of finds there! The .22 pistol you found is called a 'spur trigger derringer', it is a fairly inexpensive firearm still produced today, it is a revolver type capable of holding 5 rounds. :icon_thumright:

Kind of. The one I found was made in the late 1800's and has a 7 round cylinder. Mine came out of a lake though.

I bet you wish yours was complete. Still a nice piece.

Looks like a great start to the rest of the year. Depending on where you live you still have time to reach your goal.

Congratualtions on the fine assortment of finds!

Looks like we have a winner. Very nice match. Now go find the rest of the gun!

Congrats on a ton of great finds! -Lisa & John

Great variety of finds!....
I'm intrigued by the Glaucoma Drill token/coin thing.....I'd love to know what that's all about.

I would say that was quite more than just a decent week.and it has been quite some time since I have found a Green river whiskey token.

Absolutely superb....I am also getting back into hunting...finds like this are few and far between....keep up the good work

Colt open top, 22 pocket revolver . Induced in 1871,produced till 1877,number built 114,200.Single action and 7 shot cylinder. If it is a colt . Sure looks like it to me.
Because of the price, of a lot of knockoff being made, colt quit production

Really nice finds, incredible variety and I like the bells. Great hunt!

Thanks for all the replies guys

You guys did a great job I.ding the pistol. I knew it was the real deal as soon as I dug it. To bad it's not more complete. This is the second pistol like this one I have found over the yrs in this park.

Im also intrigued Dave with that glaucoma token coin whatever you wanna call it. Couldn't find anything on it when googling.

Should still I'll have the next few months to get out and find more. I'll be back again soon
