Here's what happens when you move out and leave the house to the soon-to-be- ex. She has a deck built that goes nowhere, and uses non-treated lumber. (Said she was going to eventually have a door cut to the kitchen -glad it didn't get that far along :o)

Country Girl,

Maybe you can send that "Babe" you posted on the"Couldn't Resist" post of yours to come and tear it down for me ::)

People with so little idea what they are doing should not be given access to tools or anyone that has them! lol

Ok, it's not exactly the deck to nowhere...with the rather large gaping holes from the rotting wood I suspect you would go DOWN rather quickly... :)

Tnetters:

If you've been reading Country Girl's post on "Couldn't resist", you would know how she has been mean to me. Now she has her sister, Cynangyl helping her and they are both ganging up on me!

Isn't this site a "Hoot"?

Here Cyn :-* and here's a reluctant one for you CG :-*

The bad thing about the deck is, I'm afraid to even get near it to tear down the rest of it.!

I have to admit I would be afraid to approach that deck too....might wanna hook a chain to it.......a very LONG chain and just drive off! ;) Tis gonna be scary whatever approach you take but you have done a beautiful job of the rest of the house and I am sure you will figure this one out too. Good luck and don't forget to post pictures!

Nick,

thanks for the advice and luckily, I can't get a vehicle close enough to yank it down. I honestly plan to take a sawzall and cut a little at a time, removing the most precarious pieces first.

Sorry to disappoint CG and Cyn but I plan to be extremely careful with no exciting pics ;)

Thanks all for your concerns; I most certaily will be careful. I may be a bit "dizzy" these days according to a member known as CG :o but I'm not stupid. ;D
