I found this worn mercury dime about 10 inches down under some roots. This is in a park located in small town dating back to 1850s! The dime is very worn and when I plucked it out I saw the D mint mark first. Then saw what I thought was a 6 but turned out to be an 8 lol. 1918 D merc dime. Later hunting a yard in the same town I also found my first spill with a merc stuck to a wheatie which was pretty cool.
Check out the video for the somewhat embarrassing live dig of the 1918 merc lol. Thanks for looking! HH!
