Definitions. Hot ground bad ground mineralization

What do these terms mean. I have a general idea from the context but not a real understanding Are hot ground and bad ground the same? Are they slang for heavy mineralization ? What minerals in the ground make mineralized? Are these mafic ie magnesium and iron ? Or something else aluminum silicates. Metamorphic or other. What is ground balancing? Is there a link that explains these terms and others on this site or? Thanks all!
