Hit a park I go to several times a year. I always come away with lots of clad. About 11 months ago in February, I was walking a line along the field sideline and dug a surprise silver, a '59D Rosie. Today, in about the same location, I dug another silver dime, a 1950 Rosie. In all, I got 88 coins for a total of $13.40, but that's not all. Along the way there were two more silvers: a .925 St. Christopher medal and a sterling ring.

Thanks Washingtonian! This was all from checking along sports field sidelines and near stands. I didn't hit all the fields and toward the end was passing up dime signals one after the other, so a trip back is on my schedule.

Thanks Clint! We've dug many of those aluminum miraculous medals but to dig a silver is less likely; nothing shines in the hole like silver.

Thanks Trezurehunter! The other words on that ring are Dream, Wish, Hope. It is of recent vintage produced by Amy Peters Studio in California.

Thanks Randy! Been good weather, so far, for detecting. I like the sports fields now because no one's there except the dog walkers.

Thanks Hawks88! That gas money comes in handy since I'm driving a Ford F-150.
