Haha I live in central pa. Definitely an orb weaver. Looked at a few pictures and none of them had a design like this one. Crazy stuff

The first time I saw a Wolf spider after moving from MI. to TN. I thought they were tarantulas. They are HUGE and hairy like a tarantula and have very large fangs. Not to dangerous though. Link is a youtube video of a Tennessee Wolf spider.

I saw this one and it's the only one I've ever seen. The day I left Texas, I was getting into the motorhome and my son called my attention to this spider. He held his hand behind it so I could get a better picture. I believe this is a 'spiny backed orbweaver'. Also has been referred to as a 'smiley faced crab spider'.
