Nana40 and I have been hitting a new spot this month that dates from 1860. Though the finds are not what we expected or as plentiful as expected, we have recovered a few good keepers.

Last weeks hunt produced these keepers. The rosette is my favorite.

Today's hunt I found this badge. It's heavy but pressed, not solid. It's Made In Germany. Any ideas of how old it is, if it's real or a toy?

Badge looks real. Possibly 1940's to 1960's. Stamped metal. The center part is either a county seal or state seal. Look up the jurisdictions the badge was found in and check with the local sheriff's office. Nice find.

You say that it says made in "GERMANY" and not "WEST GERMANY", so if it is real it's from before 1940, or after 1990 when Germany reunified.

That's MY huntin' buddy! :icon_thumright: Girl, I am SO proud for you! The badge and rosette are TOPS! :icon_pirat:
This has to be one of the most difficult sites we've hunted. And believe me, we've hunted some doozies. To find those keepers there is a testament of what a dandy hunter you are! :notworthy:

Many congrats to ya! I'm ready to go!
