Thanks for posting this Steve, yeah I watched some video comparison on the Detech and other videos with the Tejon with a large coil, those number comparisions hmmm...that's all I am going to say.

Cheers!

Did you notice the Cortes beating the Tejon for depth on a few targets, including a US quarter?

Did see that, but still would take the Tejon over the Cortes on the higher frequency and dual discrimination better on gold, appears Tejon king on the relics but Cortes not to far behind pretty impressed by these results though on the silver for the Cortes. What would get me though is the Notch width, wish the Tejon had this.

I by no means intend to say that's true, but I will say since the Cortes is the bigger brother of the Deleon, it's no slouch on depth. I think the tejon would beat it for sure.
But I usey Deleon for coins and j have a small coil and the detector tuned together, but I saw scannerguy video and he was shocked, as was I, on how well it did in his test bed. He's tested alot of machines there. I know it's not gospel but I've watched them all and it was crazy surprising to me to find out how much of a sleeper it is.
Because of the coil I have on it, it's more a special niche detector for me not for depth.
But it may surprise you how well the Deleon and Cortes are...
Happy hunting!!
