My uncle gave me permission to detect a rental house he owns in the small town of Clinton, Indiana. He said the house was built in the 1890s. My favorite find was what I think is a brass/copper alloy ring with a fake Opal from the turn of the century. Second favorite find is a 1910 Barber dime in great shape! The pocket knife looks new, but my uncle said it wasn't his so I'm keeping it. haha Also found a silver-plated knife from early 1900s and a lead Cadillac medallion/symbol that I'm guessing was on the front of an old car? I usually try for permissions that are older or more remote, but I had a great time that day!

The Cadillac emblem is probably made of pot metal instead of lead.
