detecting in Peru

HI Im new to this site but have been detecting off and on since the 80s in the caribou B.C. I now live in Peru for most of the year and would like to hook up with like minded people to get out and share a bit of detecting, we are just 10km north of Pacasmayo ,Peru and there are many interesting areas to find stuff, I have found many items in this area coins dating back to the 16th century Etc. and some pre colonial items as well, these being my favorite collectables, so if you are planning on a vacation in this area let me know and we can get out and do some serious investigations.

That's quite the move Cliff from mile houses to Peru, post up some of the finds from the area if you have time. Seen anybody else out detecting in the area you live, or is open territory for you?
