Detecting on beaches around Dublin Ireland

hi,

Has anyone had any problems detecting on beaches in and around Dublin? do any sort of clubs still exist there? Anyone done any gold prospecting in wicklow?

Hey, i do so on South Dublin beaches with no worries to date. I always keep a copy of the "National Monuments Act (Amendment 2004)" with me just in case; wherein there is no mention that one can not MD on beaches. I also have a map print off showing that there are NO "NM" in the near vicinity to my activities. I get more interested onlookers than anything; generally when i show them the junk i have found for the bin, they are all praise.
