Detecting Rheinbeck area

Hi folks,
I will be heading to the "sheep and wool" festival on october 20th weekend with my partner so looking to hook up with someone to detect with. Coming down from the Toronto area. Will bring some of my finds for a bit of a show and tell. If there is anyone within a half hour driver or so of Rheinbeck I'd love to meet up with you.

Oddly enough, my fiance and I are headed to the same festival. She said she wouldn't mind me wandering off so long as she has someone else to go with. Unfortunately I am not extremely familiar with the area. It would be nice to find someone that knows the area and we could all hook up to do some detecting. I will look into some locations, but because of the long history in the area, I imagine there are very few untouched places. I have had a little luck hitting up parks in small towns that seem to get overlooked. I will get back to you with some ideas and maybe we can get together. Until then, HH.
