Got out this weekend for the first time in a month since taking on a short illness, Gallbladder decided it had to come out and the bad was I was in Chicago preparing to return home and it hit. So after a extended stay there and I'm finally home so I had to get out for a short hunt just to test out some of my winter hunting gear. Two and a half hours and I was wore out but I got a good idea what needed to be adjusted and enjoyed using the New Deteknix Xpointer diver. When your eye sight is bad and there is clam shells, pebbles and other trash covering good targets it really can speed up the process, not for all beach hunting but needed at some of my locations.

Gold Ring #119 for the year, hope to get back out in a week or so, a little sore still so going to take it slow and start planning for 2016

Good Luck to all, Be Safe and Have a Happy Thanksgiving..

Glad to see that you are feeling better.

119 gold rings is just insane. I am so glad you I don't have to hunt behind you... whew.

Best wishes for your continued success.

Great job Joe. I'd be happy with 110 rings less than that.

Many Thanks everyone..everyday is a improvement, And .. it has been a Banner Year and a Surprise. Interested in seeing if I can come close next year. Going into my second year at hunting about four days a week and being able to get a early start as long as the water is not frozen. Something I learned from The Connecticut Boy, Craig, Frank, Pi Joe... Some of the best hunting is when the winter tides kick in...And being able to go from knee to neck deep and staying warm was what really got me many golds late winter/early spring last year.

Whoa... you wearing Dry-Suit in that picture? That's some serious gear you've got!

Yes, Winter drysuit, drygloves..Thank You!

Do you remember the name of who came from the club

He introduced himself but I can't remember, he must have been with a few other guys for the two day club hunts. He did know you..and looked to be in his 50's..

Just went thru the club hunt pictures, this maybe him on the left back... me to the right back...
