Could anyone share a pic. Of the deus in or alongside the $45 factory backpack?
I can't find a single pic. Online but have read that it doesn't seem to be made just for it.

I'm looking for a pack to carry on my mountain bike. (I would be willing to modify.. install padding to back and compression straps if needed)

Or.... If anyone has found a aftermarket pack that works well? Please post it up!
Thanks guys!

It's not made for it. It's just a backpack with the XP name on it. I had one..sent it back...cheap.

Check an outdoor store for a good high end pack. I would take the XP Deus in with ya to "fit" it!

Yes they are not the best back pack, I tell you what Minelab makes a really nice backpack, or a dicks or cabelas or bass pro shop

Went into a locale REI and they were very helpful, but.. No luck! It's just too tall for most packs.
The most likely option is a climbing rope bag. They are very minimal and have a tall narrow shape. Just a few inches too short with out special ordering anything.
Should get the pack (I think it's a scooter backpack) I ordered next week and ill let everyone know how it worked out.
Thanks guys.

Ok. As promised.

The Coil shaft does need to be slid out to fit. But this makes it fit very flat and is very easy to assemble.

I'm happy with this pack. Was $19. (Great Britian) came to about $54 US dollars shipped.
It says "urban scooter" but it really does fit the deus well.
Room for a packable rain jacket, snacks and finds bag.
Also perfect zipper pouch for my pro pointer.

It's not super high quality but it does seem to be made good enough for the dozen or so times ill use it to mountain bike into remote areas to hunt. (Time will tell)
Anyways.. Hope this helps someone else in the same situation I was in. The factory backpack just seamed too big and flimsy. This is much more streamlined. Also top has good rain cover (yellow part) that covers the top zipper.
I got it from eBay and shipping from GB to ca. Was under one week.

Love to see some other suitable, functional deus back packs. So post Em up!!

Thanks...

Worked good! Very comfortable and felt just like my camel back.
Got to some remote areas that I couldn't of walked to (easily) and got some good relics.
Very happy w pack.
