Well your DFX might be great with Nickles, my DFX is great with Quarters seems like I find almost as many quarters as I do Pennies. Nice bunch of finds, Keep on swinging.

Nice finds, love the toy pistol. I'm including a picture of one that I found this year with my trusty ACE 250:)

The detail on these cap guns is a sure sign of 1940s or 1950s. Nothing like them ever came from China via WalMart!!!!

What make and model are you talking about when you say DFX, the Titan 3000?

I am pulling out hair trying to decide what to order, lots of great suggestions and information has come my way the last 3 days and it boils down to the White 5ID, the Titan 3000, and the Garret 250.

What is the DFX that you love more than your Garret and why?

Thanks!!

The DFX is the 'top of the line' from White's [http://www.whiteselectronics.com/dfxw.php]. It costs about $1000 plus if you order by January 15, 2007 you get $200 from White's to spend on accessories. It has lots of settings you can tinker with but it also has a good set built in programs to get you started straight away.

Just my opinion.....
I have the ACE 250 as well but if you have the money and you want a machine that has lots of user adjustments go for the DFX, accordingly if you only want a 'turn-on-and-go' machine and really don't want to ever 'fine tune' the machine for various conditions I highly recommend the ACE 250.

I have to go with what I can get for under $380 including the little extras like a digging tool and other small but necessary options. That is why I was looking at the three options from Kellyco with the added items.

Nice finds, I'd love to find an old cap gun.
