Dfx help

Anyone use a dfx on the west coast? I'm on the Oregon coast and am averaging 5-6 inch digs on the beach, sometimes more. My problem is when I get in rock or gravel, seems I lose all depth and can't get a solid signal on anything

If you are on a black sand beach or area, you will have problems with a VLF machine.

yep need a pulse induction.go much deeper but not good discrimination.very good for wet salty sand and black sands
