As Casca said, batteries and gas were covered! You obviously found a site not hunted recently so maybe now that you have the screaming signals cleared out a bit, a return trip will turn up something " old ".

As Casca said, batteries and gas were covered! You obviously found a site not hunted recently so maybe now that you have the screaming signals cleared out a bit, a return trip will turn up something " old ".

Ya know, that's the funniest thing about this day and a few others I've had like it. Most of these signals came from 4 to 9 inches down. They weren't what you would expect if doing a skim hunt. The ground was VERY mineralized as well. The signals weren't exactly loud. Kinda hard to pick out from the ground clutter as well. Notice, they're not all bright and shiny, laying on top, quarters. They've been down there a while.

I'm assuming the place has been hunted. Sorta makes me wonder, just what I'm doing different. Or, if others are ignoring all but the "silver signals", ya know? And....boy! The grass in this place!! It's that type of grass that's been growing a long time, with a very, very strong root system. I use a hand tool and man! Does it ever tire a body out!!

I know of someone who called Triple-A because their buttons wouldn't work anymore. The tow driver took the key chain, and unlocked the car with the key. LOL
