That is some really cool stuff.
Do you have any idea what type that first one is? It looks so prehistoric!

I am amazed by your artifacts! The pic of your site is great. Looks like you have learned to live with the roots. Is the shelter on the right side of the pic. I know you said it was about 50' away. I am wondering because I have a shelter that I want to check. And if I don't find anything at the shelter. I would like to look in the general area as you have. It also looks like you are in the middle of a small creek bed. Your effort to find these fine artifacts is mirrored by the original owners will to survive!! Great Job!! Keith.

yes I am planning on going deeper. Im planning on taking off 2-3 ft all over the bank 1st and see what I have. then go back and start going deeper in some areas and see what comes up there.
that way i can map out what came from where all over it in 2 layers.

Thanks for the pics. Treefrog! A shelter on each side is great! Now I know how you picked this spot. Thanks again....

Tree Frog, Man if I were to find a place like that to dig, I'd never go to work again. I'd be happier than a puppy with two tails.
The finds you've shown are neat. Lots of tool forms and some old flint. I can't wait to see what comes next. You may find a paleo layer and judging by the tool forms your getting close. Don't miss a square inch of that dirt ,dude. Good luck and thanks for showing us. Lone Star
