I use the small hand held shovel and a three pronged hand held rake. I also use a half decent sized magnet to run over the holes too. I keep ALL the metal I find. The nasty stuff goes in my scrap pile. It adds up.

I have the exact same 3 tools. I don't use the lesche any more though. The other two are just too good.

I use a glock shovel, and carry it in a vietnam era entrenching tool pouch which i wear on a webb belt. I never have to carry anything but my detector.

I’ve used about all modern ones but right now: CTX 3030, White’s MXT Pro, XP Deus, Vaquero, White’s TRX
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Right hand Lesche; sharpened
31" ball end Sampson; sharpened
31" Sampson Relic shovel; sharpened (no serrations, they don't seem to work anyway)
11" Wilcox hand digger
Victorinox German Army pocket knife with saw for cutting roots
Brass Garrett Probe
Flat tip screwdriver
