A handful of deep targets from Riverside

The area I was hunting this AM for a few hours had either surface trash targets or the occasional deep target (>7 inches). I was looking for high-tone or mid-tone signals that were deep. Some large pieces of iron were found, and there was an occasional pull tab at 6 inches, but there were a handful of older objects, too. The exception was a shallow wheat at about 3 inches, but this was within 4 feet of a large tree.
Keepers are pictured below:

A gilt copper pendant missing its square stone,
A cast brass square nail (let me know if you know when such nails were used),
A 1892 Indian Head Cent with 'LIBERTY' visible, and
A partial pinned panel that is missing pin and other pieces that would have identified it (there was felt-like material in the panel).

Thanks for taking a look.

Agreed. If I don't find silver, I'm happy with the Indian.

Congrats on the nice keepers. I often go back to sites I hunted last season.. Now that I have the F75 I consider all previously hunted sites as new territory since I have slowed down and now listen for the deeper whispers and iffy's. It's amazing on what I have dug from previously hunted sites. I do not swing as fast as last season. My daily coin total has fallen drastically, but now I am pulling more keepers in lieu of just clad.

L-D,

Would like to hear how you set your unit. My thoughts were the same as you expressed.
Currently I use sens-90, disc-06, no notch, 3-tones and process-de.

That bronze mix used for the Indian holds up amazingly.

I 1st find a good frequency and usually hunt with sens as high as I can, I am used to some falsing. I disc out 1 thru 25, and hunt in either 3H or 4H. Most properties I hunt are very uneven and I use PF mode mostly. If the site is relatively level I do hunt in DE. I use BP after I hear a weak signal to help in getting a better VDI. I also perform a ground grab every so often if I deem it necessary.
