I posted earlier today about an Arabic coin I'd found in a Coinstar reject tray. Personally, I struggle with taking pictures. A while back I picked up a Celestron Model #44302-B purchased off Azon for around $30 if I remember correctly. Looks like I remembered incorrectly, it's at $47 on Amazon right now.

It takes great pictures!

But to get those pictures, first the coin wouldn't fit into the view. So I had to set the camera on top of some books to get the full view.

And then, because of the poor quality of the stand, the camera would not set still. I went to tighten it up to hold in place and it popped apart. It took patience to put it back together, and I still had to hold it in position while snapping the pics.

Better equipment isn't cheap!

What does everyone else do for pictures?
