It's the stem on the right. I typically never find anything so even if its worth ten cents just seeing something different was entertaining.

I dug a 1965 dime recently that looks identical to my eyes. Can you elaborate on what is so special about it, I'm not seeing it.

Yes, dimes have full stems, not broken unless that year was different. Flip over reverse of any dime and you'll see.

OK I am following you now. My 1965 dime has a full stem on both left and right sides same as a 1988 dime I compared it to.

I pretty sure I'm seeing what you're seeing on the dime. but it's hard to make out, when I enlarge the image is gets too blurry to see any fine detail on the dime, a better closeup would help for all to see, I haven't heard of an error dime with a split stem before, but that doesn't mean there's isn't such an error.
