If you had discovered a astounding subterranean tunnel - in a area where gold was mint and stashed - below a collapsed cliff ( presumably use of explosives ) with tons of river boulders brought into it through a hidden " primary " entrance and you run out of resources due to the obstructions ... What would you do next ?

I would check the entire area for signs of human activity.... Pottery, metal artifacts etc first to see if I was on the right track. Digging out a collapse is a good way to get killed without knowing what you're doing. I'd make sure there was a good chance it was worth it, then find someone with tunneling knowledge to help.

Hi Resherma,

That is a complex question. There are many variables that would need answering to give an informed decision on what to do next.

If the resources are depleted, that leaves two options. (Find a funding partner or wait until funds are restored/saved up.)
Where in Central America? (Country will make a difference)

Easy answer? (Ground Penetrating Radar)

I have a similar situation. I have worked on one elusive treasure off and on for years. This last week, I deciphered the location of a cache site used by Spaniards in the mid 1500s. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get access to search as the land is owned by BSA of all entities.

Oh well, such is the life of relic hunters.

First off I'd avoid asking for funding on the Net.
it could get you accused of things & Get you banned from allot of forums.

I'd talk to my Friends & see if there was a way we could all work together.

If not.

I'd suggest we work it on our own in our spare time, and
see what we could extract.
Just like we do in parks, etc. now.
