And I put it in my finds pouch thinking it was just something some kid lost, but after water rinse, Holy-Toledo batman! This item seems to have free masonry symbols on it but I am no expert, so its just a guess, at any rate this is a extremely cool relic! It did seem to have a slight amount of gold plate before washing, and there was a eyelet type rivet which fell apart on wash, leading me to believe this was once fastened on something leather. Any help identifying would be nice, if anyone is familiar with the symbols please do tell!

The second item may or may not be something nice, it appears to be something issued by boy scouts and I have no idea if it is old or not. Anyone know ?

looks like a lock faceplate? I only say that because it has two keys at the bottom where possible a keyhole would go?

I have no idea though. That would just be a wild a** guess. Its really a cool piece either way. Nice save.
