Hmmm, a gathering of treasure spirit club……perhaps…..that would certainly be interesting……gathering and exploring, searching a location with our various skills and knowledge………that would be very cool……...

Been seriously studying GOD's word since I was 9.
Never have really gone for anything dark like that.

So, Rebel, if any of y'all are wanting to be having
a séance, you can surely count me out, brother... :cross:

I was raised in the Nazarene, Pentecost, and Assembly of God churches. We would go to the Nazarene church on Sunday mornings, then the Pentecost Church on Sunday nights. Mom was the Nazarene and Dad the Pentecostal. Later Dad changed to the Assembly of God Church. Wednesday night was 'prayer meeting' at the Nazarene church and Saturday night services were held at the Pentecost church.
As I grew older, I started skipping church. I would go occasionally, but not very often. After I married, my wife and I started going to the Nazarene church and did for sometime.
I very seldom go to church, but do try to live a good Christian life. I don't believe one must attend church to be a Christian; but I believe it helps most people. I won't try to go into the reasons I don't go to church now. I have a Bible on my desk, always do. I don't read it everyday, but try to take time to read it often. I'm not as familiar with the Bible as I would like to be, but am still trying to learn.
When a person gets older, they think more about their relationship with God; at least they definitely should! One never knows which breath will be their last.
As for séances and such, I'm like Senor Crosse! Count me out!

Relax :cross:, after all this treasure spirit thread was your idea, and not a bad one. It is when you try to change it into a religion thread, that some get their feet tangled. The word seance has more than one definition, it also means a session, gathering, meeting, or sitting.

Mastiff4me was only asking out treasure spirit club to join her that's all. Doc liked the idea "gathering, and exploring, searching a location with our various skills, and knowledge."

Our treasure spirit club is not a religion, nor did Doc, or Mastiff4me propose to talk to the dead. Reb was only joking, and I knew so, but in reality, a seance of treasure hunters is only a gathering of treasure hunters.

OK, I'm relaxed. 8-)

You relax too Amigo coazon

The Holy scriptures that are not
manipulated by man, is not Any
man's religion. They are an
historical record, and also
GOD's own blueprint. Of
how and why spirits,
good and bad, Actually Work.

How spirits from another dimension,
can make themselves known, even
with power in our world, and are
governed by Spiritual Principles,
or, Spiritual Laws.

That makes it Reality,
and works in dealing
with spirits. Including
spirits that may be tied
into treasures, that may
have to be dealt with, when
trying to recover a lost treasure,
especially one of any real significance.

Not the first time.
Rebel the joker, he he.
He knows. No problem.
I like to joke, and have
tried to do some.
That's just something
I don't joke about.

I wish everyone well,
with all good successes,
safety, the best of times.
That's mostly what I've done...

Have spent time telling family
stories and experiences, telling
treasure tales, like everyone has,
and it has been interesting...

Thanks to everyone that has given
input, for your positive contributions
of experiences, and rich treasure tales.

May the spirits always be with you...

Peace, ~Happy Thanksgiving~

Thanks Tex

I went to church on and off a lot of my life.
Was originally taken as a kid, to a SDA, in a
beautiful old grey blue hand made rock building,
that was originally an old "Jewish" Synagogue.
It was complete with a full size bell tower, (they
would ring the bell). The pipe organ pipes going
all up and around inside of the bell tower also.
It had a balcony, and a good, well lit and clean
basement with rooms. The entire building also
had excellent antique wood work. I remember
the ladies would gather clothing and coats
down there, to give to the needy.
Anyway, just a neat old world masons building,
and, the people and spirits there were very good.

Now I may occasionally go to a church for
something like a wedding, but mostly just
listen, watch, read or play music, at home.

Thanks for your story and post Tex... :cross:

Howdy :cross:,

Don't worry about me my friend, I was born relaxed, it was after the doctor spanked me for nothing that I became irritated some.:laughing7:

I agree that it was a bad joke, and have also had some of my joking interpreted wrong, like when I was just joking about the smiley face.:laughing7:

I only call out the spirits when I say "bartender, give us another round".:occasion14:

Happy Thanksgiving to you to, and to everyone else.:coffee2::coffee2::coffee2::coffee2::coffee2:

Crosse, I absolutely agree we should not seek contact with the dead (it is demons pretending to be the departed anyway)……..
My reference to treasure spirits was intended only to those posting on this thread………
Scripture is clear on this point…….vaya con Dios

Hey Doc

Understood you talking about everyone's skills.
Coming together, to work on and solve a treasure
site. That would not just be great, but exceptional.
[EDIT] For people to coordinate efforts together, and to
be successful, would be one of the ultimate of quests?

We are always on the same page, I think. You are
not afraid to express your thoughts, and do it very well.

I thought y'all had good ideas, would really be neat if it
ever was to happen. I guess I prefer to call such a meeting,
a conference, or rendezvous. [EDIT] I suppose that would
potentially be some reale spirited church treasure diggins'.8-) :laughing7:

That's really all I was saying.
Thanks for your positive input too... :cross:
