I like to hear 'Stille Nacht' (Silent Night) sung in it's original German.

I find that the best ones, are sung by small off key children,
who are out singing because they are overflowing with Christmas.
And half snockered carrollers who only wanted to make you smile, once, during the season.

They may not sing my favorites,
But there is something in those freely given verses of off tune Christmas rhyme....
That capture the heart and send your spirit soaring...
