I saw this detector on a local classified ad. It appears that the person posting the pics has no clue about how a detector works. Look at the position of the coil.

As with other types of equipment, it is nice when something at least comes with an accessory or two. Maybe the manual, digging tool, headphones etc.

When stuff comes with only the unit itself, it doesn't mean it's stolen but it certainly makes you wonder a bit,
especially if the seller knows nothing about the item.

Well, it could just be someone selling something they've never used before... lots of times a wife or husband will sell their spouses' metal detector and have no clue how to even pick it up.

If you go to the ad, one of the pictures shows the coil mounted properly. They were probably just not paying attention when taking the picture.

Or they folded the shaft out of the way so they could get the picture. I am sorry but I am really suspicious of this.

It could just be me.

The old V-SAT's usually sell for $300-375.Very good nugget detector,but strickly for gold.
