Does anybody know some good goldpanning spots in southeastern pa?

As a former long term resident of SE Penna, My experience on your area is that
it is good for coin shooting, but very few nuggets to be found.
If your into panning, the Reading area is a good place to try. Very fine gold though.

I live in Southern PA and got this information from Jeri a while back. It is a good location and most of the folks who own the farm land don't mind you prospecting as long as you ask first.

Muddy Creek is good from Pa. RTe. 74 to the river. Peters Creek is good in the final 2 miles of the Susquehanna River. Make sure you talk to the property owners about permission to pan.
