The first one looks like slag to me, not 100% tho. I find a lot of slag glass around where I live in Michigan and that looks quite similar. Flint/chert is the most likely tho.
If that is Leland Blue, the only place it can be found is on the Leland peninsula Northwest of Traverse City MI. That's worth some decent $ to a lapidary who knows what they're doing...ppl around here buy that stuff like crazy and at ludicrous prices. That bright blue piece is really gonna fetch some loot
Thanks for the info guys . There was several pieces of this stuff laying around a old dry creek bed makes sense that it was a by product from the old furnaces . There were old ruins that might have been a furnace near by. Thanks again for the replies. So if someone ask what it is I'll just say LBL Blue...ha
