found this Dog Tag today at 8". Looked in white pages and found name at same address but number was disconnected. They have a Fla. address that I'm planning to write. This 516 area code changed in 1999 to 631 so I doubt the dog is still around.

so I found out the dogs owner was Mary Jan Mclade but she passed her husband who's 94 told me "Mitzi" (the dog) died a few years ago as a puppy being ran over while on a camping trip. I had to say "Not in the woods?" Not mentioning to him our phone exchange was changed in 1999. I figured best to leave the issue alone.
I found the tag next to the fireplace in the pic, at 8". HH.
