With EARL headed up the East coast there are a lot of hunter's that will be on the beach
and in the water to try and get there share of loot he uncovers. That's what we hunter's
do when time and condition's are right, but PLEASE remember that rips and large surf
are a real danger at this time and are not to be taken lightly. Wear a PDF of some sort
even if you are only knee deep! Bad things can, will, and do happen to even the best
of swimmers in these conditions. Don't let the thrill of the hunt take first place; make
it your safety instead. Good Luck to you all!

A fisherman drowned up here in Mass yesterday. He was sitting on some rocks and a large wave hit him and pulled him out. Earl isn't even here yet, just remnants of the previous storm.

I'm headed to Ocean City MD for other reasons. But I'm thinking I'll take some equipment with me. But just so I'm not lured by the temptation, I'm not taking a water machine. I'll take my chances with the ACE250 in the "dry" sand if I can find any.

I dont have a PFD yet so I wont be going in deep at all.. I will only go half to the knees.. thats it .. not with a storm brewing or until I get a PFD.
