Breaking in new AT Gold on soccer field spectator line today. 5 hrs of non-stop excitement, good targets every 3rd step! Forgot (stupid) to drink water, & paid for it with orange pee & general body misery!

One always has to remember to hydrate. Especially if your going to be on a great big sunny field Or in a desert~ which is about the same thing. Hahh.
Another thing to remember: Bring a snack. Low blood sugar is not just for diabetics and besides an snack will force ya to rest and hydrate. Keep swinging.

I drink moderately before going out, never over doing it. If it's too hot, I don't dig period...or at least wait until it cools any(if it does)before dark. But, more than once, I have hit the fluids beforehand and 30 mins in...you know, that point when you are really starting to focus...and guess what The bladder thinks it's showtime. Then you realize...there are no bathrooms anywhere around. But it's better to be hydrated than not to be...so be careful with that.
