Hit a construction site near downtown today. It appeared to be a parking lot tear out. On one end of the site I got a lantern top and this scabbard drag. From what I can find on the internet it looks like an 1850 field officers sword scabbard tip. Maybe from the Ames Co.? Not sure what we've stumbled upon here but it will be paved over in a few days.
On the other end of the site I got the toy lead howitzer and 1923 wheatie.
