It all started with my wife caught me looking out the window longingly. She said "just go!". So I went. It was dark, about 8:15. I was planning on going to one of my old spots but spotted a neighbor outside. He'd let me search his property once before, the site of a colonial home and road, but said he didn't want it to be more than once. Last time I found a toasted but identifiable 1803 LC. So I went and started chatting him up. Asked sine I knew he was a few beers in, and said come-on!
So I did. Knowing the targets were shallow, I dug everything 2" and deeper. Good thing. Got a lot of clad and quarters, but also scored a Halfie at 2"! Rang up at 12-45/46
I have a few pics but the last one is the only pic that you can identify the coin. It's soaking right now but should be ready soon. I think I'll be able to pull a daw then
Happy hunting!
