The plantations around Charleston, S.C. in the late fall. That would be my dream hunt. I love that area down there, there's a lot of history. Unfortunately, most if not all of them are off limits to detectors.

I am going there after I spend 8 months or so in Central America.

Mexico also has a ton of treasure too.

England. Several of our club members have made detecting trips to there and always come home with some great old stuff: hammered silver, gold coins, roman coins, ect....
100 year old "coppers" are just junk to them!

A few of the early USA states MA, PA, CT..... lots of old coins still lost in the ground . Would like to find some old copper coins,old silver from the 1700's and early 1800's, even some Colonial coins.
