Up here in Redding in 91 we had the cantara spill that killed darn near every critter in the river including me. CDFG took $50 million and spent 10 years studying the river,and us to death. Scientists downstream and all over watching us with every scientific instrument known to man. Your plume does indeed hurt the fish as they stated emphatically that dredging should be banned because we overfed the fish with the suspension plume from dredging and made them fat and too healthy sic sic sic---scientists said to reopen the Sacramento to 8" dredges for a 7 month season--STOPHER CLOSED IT FOREVER John
