Yes.

Only 2 weeks without rain, should be moisture still in the ground. When the ground becomes rock hard, then deep targets will be harder to dig.

100º will keep you from digging as deep (and as fast) than any other things combined.

Your md may act a little funny, but it will still find treasure.
