Not a coin expert but my opinion I would grade it at F-12 and for a Variety 1,the 2010
Red Book list it for $100. Just a guess

you coin is the rare 1917 type 1 "bared" (left) breast standing liberty quarter--- such a hue and cry went forth from the public that the mint altered the design to "cover" the breast of lady liberty the same year --the 1917 standing liberty quarter type 2 has 3 stars under the eagle on the back --the type 1* does not ---thus yours clearly is a type 1 and is a collectors item -- its exact condition is hard to judge unless your there in person but its a very nice highly worth while find --from a collectors veiw point plus its SILVER!! ;D :icon_thumright:

f-12? Its in way better condition than a coin in f-12.

great find!!......yes, it is easily Very Fine, very close to Extremely Fine........don't have a price guide handy but this is definately the correct grade and therefore a higher price than graded just Fine.
