KYWONDER and I hit one of our parks today to take advantage of nearly 60 degree weather. I dug 49 quarters, 28 dimes, 1 nickel, and 16 pennies for a total $15.26. Best find of the day was 4 quarters stacked together. It sure rang up sweet. This is the most I have dug in quite awhile and definitely had me smiling for a change. I dug quite a bit of trash but it was worth it. Thanks for looking and HH! 20170205_202612-1.jpg20170205_200028.jpg20170205_202759.jpg

You were busy today. Nice weather where you are I see still 35 in Michigan I'm going out tomorrow hope to have a hunt like yours add some silver and gold LOL

60 degrees, huntin' with your honey, tons of clad and Spiderman.........!!
Ya just needed that touch of silver to make it a perfect day, KDQ!! Great hobby huntin'.............:hello2:

If you had a itch for some digging, you surely satisfied that today. Lol
Great day!!

That is a lot of clad! :occasion14:

A lot of bottle caps in that park. IMHO, a concentric coil may help you ID them a bit better than the DD.

Thanks Professor. I knew some of the bottle caps were junk but there are so many pocket spills that ring up crazy signals that I just dug them in case they were $. Those 4 quarters stacked came up in the 90's and sounded trashy but I was glad I dug it. We have the smaller coils but it's a large park and I wanted to cover a lot of ground so I used my DD coil. The section where I found most of the clad was very trashy and I was thinking I might go back to that area with my smaller coil. I literally stopped digging penny and dime signals bc my knees and back were getting tired. LOL.

I sure did, Deershed. It was so refresh ing to enjoy fresh air and have some decent finds. Only thing that would have made it better would have been silver.
