Great find! I am guessing you have little interest in US relics so I will trade you a very nice love token I found made from a 1800's silver Vicky 25 cent piece for the GW token. Just kidding of course. Please do update this post when you get a positive ID on that. Congrats on a very cool find!

Been in to studying warfare and military since I was a kid but it was the longest time, well into adulthood, before I started learning about what went on in my own back yard practically.

Here is 1 example thats pretty fascinating, battle of Mackinac Island, actually a series of actions over a period of time

I wonder if this was directly related to British firepower. Whenever I dig a musketball I immediately think Rev war and start begging for a USA button in good shape.
