Dug a pretty nice religous gold medal

I dug up this nice looking religious medal I'm guessing an angel with a sword above the devel! I used my pinpointer in a hard to detect area and got the signal. On coin mode on the garrett ace no sound, but on jewelry mode good sound and in gold area. on all medal mode same thing. I'm guessing maybe its gold plated.No magnet sticks either.Can't find a marking ,but 3 indentations on the clasp,but can't makeout anything.

Got 2 Canada cents 1973 and 1988 octagon for the 88.

Plus $4.06 in clad.

Lovely gold! Please post pic of the Canadian octagon coin, I've never seen one of those.

I use my pinpointer instead of detector close to metal fences and concrete walls containing rebar -- that way i get signals that would otherwise be masked by my detector beeping nonstop at the fences & rebar -- I've dug some nice items that way. Have fun! Andi

That's st michael the arch angel I have a tattoo of it except he has a gladiator body to beef him up haha. Some people may look down on the fact that I have a half sleeve tattoo, but I love the art and what they can express about someone. Nice find HH!

You're sure that's not 10k or 14k? Looks pretty shiny to me and often religious medals are 10k or 14k Nice find either way.
