What is the concensus on a dust-rain cover for the upper arm-shaft where the battery housing is for the E-Trac?
I saw many brands out there...what is a good one?

I would like to know the same thing. I ordered one at the time of purchasing the detector and there was a part number but then they contacted me saying that even though there is a part number and an item in the new catalog that it is no longer produced. Thanks for the feedback.

I purchased some thin black neoprene fabric (wetsuit material) that I use on just about everything. I had taken the fabric to a seamstress a couple years ago, and she built me one for around 25.00 that is still intact. I took the upper unit in with, and she just took the dimensions.
