eagle nco sword plate (garage sale find) is it real?

went garage saleing yesterday, came up on this buckle im like no freakin way.....im in new yorks Adirondacks so there are def treasures that people have and don't realize what they are, anyway it had $25 on it I offererd $10 I feel its a repro.....after some hagleing I got it for $17! after some research I think it might be real, it has a bench mark of 780 I believe, what do you think

I think it is real the patina looks good and the arsenal is in the right spot, to bad they did not have the keeper as well. That is a fine looking plate and as I stated I think it is real.
